Stephanie represented my wife and me as both buyer and seller in our home change-out, and it was immediately obvious that Stephanie cares. Her tenacious, probably unhealthy work ethic is clearly borne from a genuine interest in those she represents. Stephanie makes you feel as though you’re her only client when the reality is that we were probably something like one in twenty. Stephanie was always available to answer our questions and dedicate her time to show us new listings, just so she could narrow down our interests to such a fine point that we could ultimately find the perfect place for us. And that’s what happened.
So what more can you ask of a realtor who finds you exactly the house you’ve been looking for, at a price cheaper than what you would have paid for it, located precisely in the right neighborhood, and which perfectly fits 100% of the specifications you’ve had saved in your Zillow search for the past 12 months? Well, you could ask her to sell your 1920’s bungalow, and to do so immediately.
With this simple instruction, Stephanie handled everything. She itemized what we should do, identified what we shouldn’t do, and she used her list of contacts so long it would make the Kardashians blush to make everything happen as fast as possible and with as little burden on us as possible. And as well-connected as Stephanie is, as much as she knows about available properties, she is also very good at staging, which I admit I previously thought was a stupid concept. In about a day, Stephanie hunted and gathered about 32 decorative items, including the typical lemons and limes and help-yourself cookies I ended up eating within a week, and she made our house look like something completely different, but better.
She sold our house within days of the listing, which in my mind wasn’t even a faint possibility. As hard as Stephanie worked in finding us our more expensive second home, she probably put four times the effort into marketing, selling, and troubleshooting the renovations of our far less expensive starter home, and with a tighter deadline and emotions running significantly higher on our end. She didn’t have to do that, but she did, and that is the kind of person Stephanie is.
Nobody can predict the future, and nobody can say with certainty when houses will sell and at exactly what price. What is certain, though, from having been through the experience, is that Stephanie will represent each client with professionalism and honesty, with an almost intimidating tenacity, and with a client’s interests genuinely at heart. So for those and so many other reasons, Stephanie has our highest recommendation, to anyone looking to buy, sell, or do the ol’ house switch-a-roo.
Clearly she knows the marketplace and has a lot of contacts and a keen eye for staging, but a lot of realtors probably have that. What sets Stephanie apart is her obvious care for her clients’ experiences, almost as if she experiences them, too. We never felt alienated or abandoned, we always felt she was a phone call (or text) away, and we were most impressed with her genuine integrity. When it was all over, we were left with the very basic impression that Stephanie is, in addition to being a good realtor, just a good person.
